Lead the accounting function for an established Charlotte organization — close, reporting, controls, and team. Reports to the VP of Finance.

An established Charlotte organization is hiring a Controller to lead its accounting function. Reports to the VP of Finance and owns the full accounting cycle, reporting, and the controls and team behind them.

What you'll own

- Full-cycle accounting and a timely, accurate close - Monthly financial statements and management reporting - Budgeting support, cash management, and forecasting inputs - Internal controls, accounting policies, and audit - Tax and compliance coordination with external advisors - Leading and developing the accounting team

What we're looking for

- CPA with 7+ years of progressive accounting experience - Strong US GAAP, close, and internal-controls knowledge - Experience leading an accounting team - Advanced systems (ERP) and Excel skills - High attention to detail and a process-improvement mindset - Strong communication across the business

Compensation & benefits
